BSI | Quality Assurance for Hardware, Smart Locks & Robotics

Founded in 1999, Best Source International Ltd (BSI) supports international B2B procurement of GPUs, servers, ASIC miners and PC components, alongside smart locks and logistics robotics.

Our approach to quality starts with clear product specifications and agreed inspection requirements. We coordinate with customers, relevant teams and supply partners to define what will be checked, how it will be tested and which records will be provided.

Inspection methods and acceptance criteria vary by product category, condition and order scope.

Product Specifications & Supply Verification

Before an order is confirmed, we review the requested models, configurations, quantities, product condition and included accessories. Compatibility, warranty terms and any special inspection requirements are clarified with the customer.

For branded hardware, manufacturing quality assurance and BSI’s agreed order checks are separate responsibilities. For customized products and robotics projects, production checks and acceptance requirements are defined with the responsible manufacturing or project team.

Computing Hardware & Component Checks

For GPUs, servers, CPUs, memory and storage products, agreed checks may include:

-Model, part number and serial number verification, where available.

-Configuration, capacity, interface and accessory checks.

-Visual inspection of product condition and packaging.

-Compatibility review against the customer’s specified system.

-Functional or operating tests under agreed conditions.

For server orders, the inspection scope may also cover component recognition, configuration consistency and selected system tests. Test coverage and available reports are confirmed for each order.

ASIC Miner Performance Checks

ASIC miner checks are defined according to the exact model, condition and agreed supply terms. Where testing is included, checks may cover:

-Model, rated specifications and power supply requirements.

-Startup, network connection and operating status.

-Hashrate, power consumption and temperature under recorded test conditions.

-Fans, cooling components and included accessories.

-Visible condition and packing requirements.

Test results reflect the equipment and conditions at the time of inspection. They do not constitute a guarantee of mining profitability or identical performance in every operating environment.

Smart Lock Quality & Compatibility Checks

For smart locks, quality review combines product function with installation suitability. Depending on the selected model and agreed inspection scope, checks may include:

-Model, finish, lock body dimensions and included accessories.

-Door thickness, opening direction and installation compatibility.

-Supported fingerprint, passcode, card, key or other access methods.

-Locking operation, low-battery alerts and emergency power functions.

-App, gateway and connectivity functions supported by the model.

-Agreed branding, packaging and labeling requirements.

Outdoor suitability, IP ratings, software compatibility and other technical claims must be supported by documentation applicable to the specific model.

Logistics & Palletizing Robotics Testing

For logistics and palletizing robotics, testing is defined according to the equipment, site conditions and intended workflow. Depending on the project scope, pre-delivery checks may cover payload handling, navigation and positioning, obstacle detection, braking and emergency stop functions, as well as continuous operation and battery performance. System integration, task scheduling and multi-robot coordination are tested where included in the project.

Factory testing, site commissioning and final acceptance follow separately agreed requirements. Responsibilities, test conditions, acceptance criteria and required records are confirmed in the project agreement.

Certification & Supporting Documents

Certification and compliance documents are reviewed according to the product model, manufacturing entity and destination requirements.

Where ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 certificates are presented, their holder, validity and scope should be identified. These management system certifications do not replace product-specific conformity documentation.

CE conformity documents, UL certifications or other test reports are provided or reviewed where applicable and available for the selected product. Certification claims are not applied automatically across the entire product range.

Packing & Pre-Shipment Review

Quality coordination continues through shipment preparation. Agreed checks may cover product quantities, accessories, protective packing, carton labels and shipping documents.

For sensitive electronic hardware, packing requirements may include suitable electrostatic protection and cushioning. For smart locks, checks may include installation accessories and manuals. Robotics equipment requires packing and handling arrangements appropriate to its dimensions, weight and transport conditions.

Special requirements should be confirmed before dispatch.

Quality Records & After-Sales Follow-Up

Available inspection records, photographs and test reports are agreed according to the order scope. If a discrepancy is identified, we coordinate with the responsible team or supplier to review the issue and agree on the next steps.

After delivery, customers can contact BSI with the order reference, product identification and a description of the issue. Warranty assessment and support follow the agreed terms for the specific product.

Contact BSI to discuss the inspection and quality requirements for your next order.
