Lenovo Group Ltd’s export rate saw a strong rebound in the second quarter, consolidating its position as the No 1 PC vendor, while the global PC vendors have to deal with the continuous shrinking demand for more than two years because of sluggish economy and aggression from mobile devices such as large-screen smart phones, an industry report sain on Thursday.
The Beijing-based electronic maker-Lenovo shipped abroad 14,563 PCs from April to June, taking nearly 20 percent of the market share, said IDC, an United States research company.
Lenovo’s PC market share jumped more than 15 percent compared to a years ago, it leads the Chinese company’s continued aggressive expansion and pricing strategies boosted business growth.
